Why book the transfer before you fly
Landing at SSA with luggage and no plan is how people lose a day.
Met at arrivals
Our team waits at the arrivals exit with a sign. No taxi negotiation, no finding the ferry terminal on your own with bags.
One price, three legs
Ferry, coach and speedboat in a single booking. You pay the official fare — no surprise add-ons at the pier.
Booked with the operator
Cadastur-licensed agency, not a marketplace. If a leg is disrupted we reorganise your connection — you are not left on your own.
Island survival guide
What nobody tells you before landing in Bahia.
Pack soft, not hard
There are no cars on the island — wheelbarrow porters carry your bags over sand streets. Hard-shell suitcases are a genuine pain here. Bring cash for the tip.
Cards and cash
Cards work in most restaurants, but small kiosks and boat vendors are cash-only. Withdraw reais in Salvador — island ATMs run out in high season.
Plan the return early
Transfers back leave in the morning and early afternoon. If you have an international flight home, come back the day before — weather can disrupt the water legs.
Honest comparison with the ferry
This route takes about an hour longer than the catamaran. What you get in exchange: pick-up at the airport and almost no open sea. If you are already in central Salvador and don't mind swell, the catamaran is the faster choice.

Frequently asked questions
Everything about the airport transfer
Where does the transfer pick me up?
At the arrivals exit of Salvador International Airport (SSA). Our team wears a branded vest and holds a sign with your name or the agency logo. Hotel pick-up in Salvador can also be arranged — just tell us when you book.
How long does the whole journey take?
Around 3h30 door to pier. It combines a ferry across the Baía de Todos os Santos, an executive coach down Itaparica island, and a 15-minute speedboat from Bom Jardim to Morro de São Paulo.
How much does the transfer cost?
From R$ 155 per person, per leg. It is the practical choice if you are arriving by plane, since it starts at the airport and you skip the taxi into central Salvador.
Can I pay with a card issued outside Brazil?
Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex issued abroad. The charge is processed in Brazilian reais (BRL) and your bank applies its own exchange rate on the day.
What if my flight is delayed?
Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you know. We will do our best to move you to the next available departure at no extra cost.
Is this better than the catamaran ferry?
It depends where you start. Already in central Salvador or Pelourinho? The catamaran is faster (about 2h30) and leaves from the Maritime Terminal. Landing at the airport, or prone to seasickness? This transfer fits better — it stays on road and sheltered water for most of the trip.
Can I bring a large suitcase?
Hand luggage up to 15kg is included. Larger cases can usually go in the coach hold for a small extra fee — let us know in advance so we reserve the space.
Tell us your flight time
Send us your arrival time at SSA and we'll tell you the best connection available that day — and whether the ferry would suit you better. No obligation.
